Join us for a series of classes aimed at both newcomers to Salsa and those who have danced other Salsa styles and seek a “fast” conversion to Cuban style and to Rueda.
Managed to Cuban principles, the classes are structured to help attendees realise their potential, be ready for further classes, to gain confidence to dance at public events and, of course, have fun!

Beginners
(including those with two left feet, no sense of rhythm, and only there because their partner said so!!)
Taught by Jean Richards, a very experienced dancer and teacher.
Session 1 – morning

a brief introduction to the Cuban ‘Rueda de Casino’ style of dancing
In summary, to move beginners through the basics of Cuban Salsa, the steps, simple moves and combinations of moves to a level where the individual can confidently join ‘Improver’ level classes. And most importantly have fun.
Improvers & Intermediates
(and X-body salsa dancers who want to learn Cuban salsa)

In short, to improve Cuban Salsa capabilities and hence build confidence in dancing the Cuban salsa style and so be able to visit Cuban salsa venues and events confidently.
Party and Raffle, including Cuban cigars, Havana club and Cuban souvenirs, plus an additional raffle at £5 per ticket for a flight to Madrid
InstructorsGuest teacher Yanet Fuentes , is teaching the master classes for all levels
David Martinez is teaching the Improvers+ class and Jean is teaching the beginners class
Lunch
Bring your own lunch and drinks. and eat in the main room.
General Advice

Partners are welcome, but not mandatory, as there will be helpers to balance the men/women ratio, and you will change partners throughout the class.

Comfortable clothes and removable layers are recommended, and do wear shoes with smooth soles to help you move and turn easily.

Bottled water is a good idea.
